What is the difference between Native .NET PDF C# API and the regular COM based PDF C# objects?
The now older COM based easy PDF SDK uses the Component Object Model and Java JACOB Bridge to access the various objects in easy PDF SDK . However, COM was introduced in 1993 by Microsoft and has become quite problematic with security and performance issues so therefore we created a Native .NET PDF C# API. All our Native PDF API s are sandboxed meaning that the processes are isolated and therefore you can do your development in an environment that testing can use to mimic characteristics of the production environment and create simulated response from all APIs the application relies on. This is the beauty of our Native PDF C# APIs and also with isolation comes security and peace of mind!
