Image Resolution
PDFonline.com reduces (downsizes) the resolution of all of the bitmap images in your document which, in most cases, is only suitable for online viewing (Straight image to PDF conversion, i.e. uploading a JPEG file to pdfonline.com, is not affected by this limitation). To produce PDF document with high-quality image output for high-quality printing, use BCL easyPDF Printer.

True Type Font Embedding
By default, PDFonline.com does not embed the fonts used in your original document in the PDF file. PDFonline.com just includes the descriptions of the TrueType Fonts into the PDF output. It produces a very compact PDF but the fonts will display well ONLY on machines that have these fonts installed. If the machine doesn't have the right fonts, the PDF reader software (e.g. Acrobat Reader) will automatically select the closest font types to use.

To make sure that all of your audiences can view your PDF properly, you need to use BCL easyPDF Printer to subset or embed the fonts in the PDF.

True Type Font Subsetting
By default, PDFonline.com does not subset fonts in the PDF file. It produces a very compact PDF but will display well ONLY on machines that have these fonts installed. If the machine doesn't have the right fonts, the PDF reader software (e.g. Acrobat Reader) will automatically select the closest font types to use.

Subsetting means that the TrueType Fonts are embedded the PDF output, but only for the characters used in the document. This option would produce a reasonably sized PDF which can be displayed correctly in any computer.

To make sure that all of your audiences can view your PDF properly, you need to use BCL easyPDF Printer to subset or embed the fonts in the PDF.
