BCL easyConverter Desktop Support
How do I use easyConverter Desktop?
- Open BCL easyConverter Desktop application
- Specify the PDF file that you would like to convert
- Specify where you would like the RTF output file to be saved at
I can't edit the Word document. Why?
There are several reasons
on why you might not be able to edit the document. Some of the most common ones are
explained below.
- The document is a scanned-in document.
PDF that was scanned-in act just like photographs, so the text within is not recognized
as "text", just the image of the text.To find out if your PDF is a scanned-in PDF, try selecting, copying and pasting text in
Acrobat. In Acrobat Reader 8, go to Tools > Select & Zoom, then select "Select Tool".
Then select the text in your document and try copy and pasting it to Notepad. If the text
are selected and copied successfully to Notepad, then your PDF is not a scanned-in PDF
and you can use BCL easyConverter Desktop to convert it to Word format.
- Document restriction.
To find out whether your PDF file has any document restriction, please open your PDF
file, go to File>Document Properties>Security tab. If it disallowed Changing Document
or Content Copying/Extraction, you will not be able to extract the document and make
any modification on the document.
- BCL easyConverter Desktop does not support PDF form.
The form fields in your PDF would be converted into images.
